Our Story – How It All Began

The idea to found our recycling company was not born at a desk, but on the streets of Zanzibar – during numerous journeys that deeply connected our current CEO with the country, its people, and its challenges. Again and again, the sheer amount of recyclable plastic polluting this beautiful island stood out – as did the number of people searching for fair employment and better living conditions. From this impression, a vision grew: recycling as an opportunity. For the environment. For the people. For the future.

Having grown up in Germany, with extensive experience in industry and a successful self-employment career in the security sector, our founder brought the necessary know-how to turn this vision into reality. The combination of technical expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and social commitment ultimately led to the founding of our company in 2024.

Our goal is clear: to make plastic recycling a major force in Tanzania – especially on Zanzibar. We buy recyclable plastic directly from the local population at fair prices, create jobs, and empower people to actively participate in change. The response on the ground has been positive: many people are satisfied and proud to be part of this movement.

But our mission does not end on the African coast. We are building lasting, global partnerships to expand our network, share knowledge, and shape a sustainable future together – for Zanzibar, for Africa, for all of us.
